Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

Using Impact Alignment Hub, whether as a registered consultant or as an invited stakeholder, means you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Your account and authority

Consultants are responsible for maintaining the security of their account and for all activity under it. You represent that the information you enter — including project content and stakeholder contact details — is accurate, and that you have the authority and a lawful basis to invite the stakeholders you add and to share their details with us for the purpose of collecting sign-offs.

3. The no-login review portal

Each review link is intended for the named stakeholder it was sent to. The link and its one-time code are a credential: do not forward, publish, or share them. Submitting a sign-off records a decision against the brief version you were invited to review, and that decision is stored as an audit record.

4. Content and ownership

You retain ownership of the briefs and comments you create. By using the service you grant us the limited right to store, display, and process your content solely to operate the features you use. You are responsible for ensuring your content does not infringe the rights of others or violate applicable law.

5. License model

A free tier is available with limits on the number of projects and access to premium features. A Pro license, purchased on Gumroad and activated with a license key, unlocks additional features. License keys are personal, non-transferable, and may be revoked for abuse or non-payment. We may change feature entitlements, but changes to a license you have already paid for will not reduce the rights granted at purchase.

6. Acceptable use

• Do not enter personal data you have no right to share.
• Do not use the service to harass, mislead, or impersonate others.
• Do not attempt to access data you are not authorized to reach, including other projects or other stakeholders’ reviews.
• Do not abuse, reverse-engineer, or overload the service or its integrations.

7. Email delivery

Some features, such as review invitations and reminders, depend on email delivery. Delivery to addresses that are not registered app users may require a paid plan with a custom domain and is subject to recipient and anti-abuse controls; we cannot guarantee delivery of every message.

8. Fees and refunds

Pro licenses are sold by Gumroad under its own terms. All sales are final once a license key is delivered and activated; see our Refund Policy for full details. The free tier remains available at no cost.

9. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Sign-off records are captured to support alignment, but users remain responsible for their own decisions and for any formal contractual sign-off requirements outside this tool.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous twelve months, or, for free-tier users, to the minimum required by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

11. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms or to protect the service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including content ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — remain in effect.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms and will revise the “last updated” date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by email where practical.
